Under the guidance of Raymond James leaders and resident experts, you will sharpen your skills in a specific fundamental discipline while engaging in development workshops, hands-on projects, peer learning and mentorship opportunities. As you navigate through the program, you’ll not only gain invaluable skills but also embody the vital cornerstones on which the technology team successfully operates.

BUSINESS ANALYST

The Business Analysis program track runs for twelve months. This dynamic program focuses on developing technical and soft skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a project team on real business assignments, acquire domain-specific knowledge, and implement viable products or application enhancements that are influenced by the mind of the advisor. All these opportunities, combined with sophisticated technology and approved AI tools, work to strengthen your experience in the Business Analysis function. Upon successful completion of the program, work will continue within an area of business analysis and support the organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Specified projects and assignments, which may vary based on team alignment
  • Operates standard office equipment and is able to use required software application
  • Leverage approved AI tools and emerging technologies to support research, documentation, analysis and process improvement activities
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge of

  • Process logic and how business processes work
  • Basic requirement elicitation practices
  • Basic concepts, principles, and practices of an assigned business unit
  • Fundamental concepts, practices , and procedures of a professional office environment
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Skills
  • Fundamental concepts of Financial Services
  • Basic awareness of approved AI tools, automation concepts, and their practical application in a business or technology department

Skill in

  • Active participation/leadership in a professional, community or academic organization
  • Relevant internships and/or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations
  • Strong record of academic achievement and interest in Information Technology
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources .
  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
