Location: Moorestown, NJ Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Integration &Test engineer. Active secret preferred.
Integration and Test Engineer:
Radar Systems Engineering within the Mission Systems Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a candidate to support the design, integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Occasional travel is required. Job Description: - Plan and execute major test programs for modern fixed site and/or surface naval radars. - Execute integration and test activities, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, technically assess anomalies and drive them to resolution. - Participate in design reviews, test readiness reviews, flight tests, element/system level verification activities and system certification. - Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. - As needed, travel domestically and/or internationally in support of on-site installation, integration and test, critical experiments, qualification trials and operations. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with 6+ years of related experience. - Functional knowledge of Radar or Electronic Warfare systems, subsystems and components. - Experience in I&T plus one or more of the following areas: system analysis, architecture, requirements development, design, and modeling and simulation. - High proficiency in Matlab, C++ or Python. - Proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure. - Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program. - U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
Desired skills : - Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent. - Radar systems development experience including algorithms, signal processing, data analysis, and modeling and simulation. - Hands-on experience with antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques. - Technical leadership experience with IRAD or program execution. - Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher.
