The Systems Analyst serves as a vital connection between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role involves analyzing and evaluating the organization's current and proposed computer systems, processes, and requirements. The Systems Analyst designs, develops,

Maintains, and implements custom technology solutions to address operational and organizational challenges, enhancing efficiency and resource utilization. A strong background in business support systems, programming languages, database management, and system architecture is essential for success in this position.

Main Duties:

  • Collaborates with internal and external customers to gather, understand, analyze, and assess their needs.
  • Conducts thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to pinpoint issues, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Prepares reports, and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and provides recommendations for solutions.
  • Designs, documents, and builds new systems that address and fix any issues shown in the current systems.
  • Develops system specifications, process flows, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts to guide system development.
  • Stays current with industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
  • Liaises with team members in other departments to resolve situations as warranted; consistently communicates with all team members to keep them well-informed and assists others as appropriate.
  • As an ambassador for the organization, personally demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the organization’s values.
  • Attends business meetings; provides reports as required.
  • Adheres to corporate policies and procedures.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A university degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • Seven to ten years’ successful experience working for a telecommunications service provider in technical architecture and design authority.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Specialist, Technical Lead, or similar role, with a strong track record of successfully delivering on technical projects.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in programming languages, database management, systems, and software development.
  • Hands-on experience using integrated development environments (IDEs), version control systems (e.g., Git), project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira), collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Analytical Skills; listening, verbal, and written communication skills; documents information/details, writes reports; translates technical/complex details into an easy-to-understand format.
  • Experience or knowledge in ERP, Billing systems, CRM, IBM/RPG, Order management, product catalog, and field management system configuration is considered a significant advantage for this role.
  • Previous experience with AS400/IBM platforms and RPG programming is a must
