Summary
The Cryptologic Computer Scientist will provide critical technical expertise to advance future cryptologic operations, solving some of the most complex challenges in national security.
Position Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, deliver, and operate solutions to challenging cryptologic computer science problems
  • Derive solutions from forensic analysis, attack attribution, and protection of critical networks
  • Support active and passive systems through knowledge discovery and mission-focused computer science innovation
  • Contribute to cryptologic mission support by applying advanced technical expertise to evolving operational needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline or equivalent combination of education, and experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with development skills such as C++ and C
  • Experience developing automation scripts using Python
  • Experience working with XKS and DX
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
  • Basic knowledge of reverse engineering for deeper system analysis and problem-solving

  • Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)

Salary Range: $87,000 - $208,000
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
