We're looking for a Business Manager to support the Microsoft Copilot team!

Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including defining business requirements and collaborating with the sourcing team on vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order processing

  • Ensure alignment with procurement best practices and drive efficiencies in sourcing and vendor management

Headcount & Organizational Operations
  • Partner with HR, finance, and hiring managers to manage headcount and organizational changes, including new hires, backfills, and attrition, ensuring alignment with approved budgets

  • Lead headcount tracking and reporting, maintaining up-to-date records of current and planned headcount across teams

Financial Planning & Budget Management
  • Own and manage the organization's budget planning and forecasting processes, partnering with finance to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals

  • Monitor budget performance on an ongoing basis, tracking actuals vs. plan and flagging variances with actionable recommendations

Business Operations
  • Serve as a resourceful problem-solver across diverse business functions, removing obstacles and handling day-to-day operational issues on behalf of the Copilot team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
  • Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

Business Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600.00 - $188,400.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000.00 - $206,400.00 per year.
