Job description

Copart is seeking a Sr. Marketing Systems Specialist, primarily responsible for designing, building, and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs across email, SMS, and push channels for Copart Members. Expanded role can include management of Google Tag Manager, Copart Member APIs, and other technical solutions supporting the maintenance of Copart Marketing initiatives.
This role bridges marketing strategy and technical execution, translating customer journey insights into scalable, data-driven campaign solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing automation expertise, advanced SQL skills, and analytical rigor to continuously improve engagement, performance, and user experience across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage lifecycle marketing programs that map to the full customer journey, identifying communication gaps and driving engagement at each stage
  • Design, build, and optimize omni-channel communication flows across email, SMS, and push notifications, from strategy through testing and deployment
  • Create and maintain responsive email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring cross-client compatibility, personalization, and deliverability best practices
  • Execute and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to improve messaging, segmentation, timing, and overall campaign performance
  • Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze audience and campaign data to inform optimization strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Analysts, Developers, and Marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, automated campaign solutions
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance marketing automation workflows, processes, and data integrity to improve efficiency and user experience

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or marketing systems roles.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of marrying technical capabilities with business and customer needs
  • Demonstrated experience building omni-channel lifecycle programs across email, SMS, and push
  • Strong proficiency in responsive HTML/CSS for cross-client email development
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability, personalization strategies, and template governance
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently query and analyze campaign and audience data
  • Experience designing and interpreting A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or similar environments
  • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or advanced Excel for performance analysis

Preferred:
  • Masters's degree in Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or related field.
