As the Director of Digital Product Management, you'll be responsible for shaping the vision and lifecycle of our digital products, ensuring seamless integration with our physical shopping destinations and across our growing omni-channel initiatives. Your role will span websites, mobile apps, eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, loyalty programs, APIs, Wi-Fi, gift cards and partner integrations to name the top ones. From concept to launch, you'll collaborate with a diverse set cross-functional teams, partners and vendors ensuring that our digital products meet shopper, tenant, job seeker and investor needs, align with business goals, and deliver outstanding value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy:
    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision for our digital offerings.
    • Craft short- and long-term strategies to achieve product goals.
    • Identify market trends, customer pain points, and growth opportunities.
  • Product Development and Lifecycle:
    • Oversee end-to-end product development, from ideation to release.
    • Collaborate with designers, developers, and research teams.
    • Define product architecture, user interfaces (UI), and user experiences (UX).
  • User-Centric Approach:
    • Conduct user research, usability studies, and A/B testing.
    • Translate user needs into actionable features and enhancements.
    • Champion a customer-first mindset throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Analyze large datasets to extract insights.
    • Develop data pipelines for tracking and improving digital products.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, across ideally a diverse set of digital channels, partners, tools and services
  • Strong understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Drive for creating impactful digital solutions.
  • Passion for bridging the gap between physical retail and digital innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan new product releases and projects, from initiation through implementation.
  • Excellent communication and demonstrated success communicating with executives and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with indirect reports in a matrix organization to establish clear assignments and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Expert at building and maintaining effective relationships across functional areas and departments.
  • Experience working effectively within and across the organization to define project goals, work content and evaluate project results.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate vendor contracts with consulting firms, hardware, and software vendors.
  • Expertise in planning, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Technically proficient enough to write a user story, log a defect or review a proposed bug fix.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement and improvement.
