As a Business Development Director for the ASUS Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), you will be a key architect of our U.S. expansion within high-stakes technology markets. This results-driven role tasks you with executing high-level strategic plans to capture direct sales opportunities across critical sectors, including Cloud Service Providers (CSP) and Enterprise. Leveraging your deep expertise in the server ecosystem and a robust professional network, you will identify, qualify, and close high-value deals in rapidly evolving areas like AI supercomputing and HPC. You will serve as a strategic partner to our clients, delivering scalable, energy-efficient infrastructure solutions that solidify ASUS’s position as a global leader in the next generation of digital transformation.
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive Vertical Growth: Expand market footprint across Cloud and Enterprise sectors, Including Next –Waved CSPs, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing and Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, etc. 
  • Pipeline Development: Identify and capture new direct-sale opportunities to exceed U.S. revenue targets.
  • Lead Generation: Source high-potential leads through trade shows, executive networking, and internal collaborations.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Build trust-based relationships with decision-makers, from technical architects to C-suite executives.
  • Technical Evangelism: Educate prospects on ASUS ISG’s AI servers, liquid-cooling, and software solutions.
  • Strategic Consultations: Lead high-impact presentations tailored to client engineering and procurement teams.
  • Proposal Leadership: Partner with Product Management to architect competitive proposals and lead RFP responses.
  • Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end contract process, from commercial review to final execution.
  • Global Alignment: Collaborate with international ISG peers to synchronize goals and share market intelligence.
  • Professional Accountability: Maintain high standards of professionalism and operational excellence.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Data Center Mastery: Deep technical expertise in server/storage ecosystems, including comprehensive knowledge of key suppliers, competitors, and customer landscapes.
  • Strategic Business Development: Proven track record in identifying high-value opportunities, developing market strategies, and leading complex commercial negotiations.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite decision-makers and technical architects via Microsoft PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications:
Years of Education 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, business administration, or marketing or equivalent experience.  Major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is a plus. 
 
Work Experience
  • 8+ years required of experience directly related to position. 
  • 8 + years of direct business experience in Server/AI/Computer Hardware/Software industry 
Working Conditions:
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time 
  • 35%-50% Traveling is required (domestic and international)  
 
$120K~$170K annually is the estimated base pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
