Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be primarily responsible for web-application development, coding, and testing.
  • You will participate in the software development process as part of a scrum team.
  • You will collaborate with your team to build features and fix software bugs accurately and efficiently whiledeveloping and documenting designs that meet applicable standards.
  • You will continuously work to improve the quality of results.

Are You Brilliant?

We expect that you will:

  • Possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science or a comparable technical degree with 5-8 years of first hand experience developing web-based applications with Java/Java EE

Be proficient with and have demonstrated knowledge of:

  • Java and enterprise Java development tools (IntelliJ preferred) and APIs.
  • Java EE application containers (JBoss, Wildfly).
  • RDBMS persistence systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • JDBC and JPA.
  • Business domain modeling using object-oriented programming techniques.
  • Front-end technologies like JavaScript, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
  • Spring Framework.
  • JavaScript toolkits (AngularJS, Kendo UI, ExtJS).
  • JUnit and Mockito.
  • Distributed version control systems such as Mercurial.
