Medical Assistant Instructor (Part-Time)
Location: Las Vegas, NV | Campus: On-Site
Schedule: 10 Hours Per Week, Tuesday and Thursday nights
Hiring Range: $20.80 - $24.96 per hour

Are you a Medical Assistant looking to share your clinical expertise without leaving the field? Join our Las Vegas campus as a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor. In just 10 hours a week, you can play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. You will leverage your real-world experience to deliver a high-impact curriculum, helping students master the clinical and administrative skills they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Focused Instruction: Deliver dynamic lesson plans and practical demonstrations using diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Student Success: Evaluate and provide timely feedback on student work, identify academic or behavioral concerns, and provide targeted advisement.
  • Practical Training: Lead lab sessions to ensure students are proficient in vitals, blood draws, EKG, and administrative front-office procedures.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Accurately complete required documentation for student files, attendance, and grading in a timely manner.
  • Campus Community: Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to stay aligned with campus goals and accreditation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR a combination of three (3) years of job-related training and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of full-time, practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) OR the willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Licensure: Must hold any current license or credential required by Nevada state law to practice in the field.
