It's a great feeling to work for a company that does so much good for others around the world!Education: Required – Bachelor’s degree in education, business, social work,sociology, or social science related field from an accredited college oruniversity in a related field.Preferred – Graduate degree from accredited program/institution in ahuman services field.Experience: Required - 2 years of experience in developing and implementing aprogram or business including experience in the administration, financialmanagement and supervision of employees and 3 years of experience inworking with children and adolescents in a large organization.Preferred - 3 plus years in senior management, multi-tasking high priorityprojects, development, oversight, and management.Supervises: CYD direct service staffJob Summary: The Program Director is responsible for using sound professional judgmentand best practices to supervise staff to ensure quality service are providedto clients and the programs are in compliance with, all policies, proceduresand contract requirements.Essential Functions:1. Develop and implement program components and resources that result in the growthand enhancement of the CYD program.2. Conduct outreach to educate the public on the CYD program and create MOUs with otheryouth-servicing agencies in the CYD zip codes.3. Lead the assigned team by providing consultation and staff meetings on a regular basis toreview and to evaluate each youth in the program and to ensure staff needs are beingmet, to perform their job responsibilities.4. Responsible for ensuring contract compliance by monitoring youth services to see that allcontract deliverables are met and by seeing that best practice is utilized to provide qualityservices to youth.5. Act as liaison with program contract managers to initiate phone calls, to participate inmonthly meetings, to provide required reporting as required by the contract.6. Monitor and maintain an internal procedure manual for the programs that includeswritten processes, contract specific requirements, and agency policy and procedures.7. Guide, lead, develop, and mentor all direct reporting staff and interns to promote optimalperformance through regular communication and evaluations.8. Implement BCFS HHS safety protocols9. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.10. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct includingdemonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community membersand complying with required dress code, at all times.11. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.Measurable Deliverables:1. Meet all guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.2. Schedule and participate in meetings and team decisions and operations.3. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and activities that promoteprofessional growth and development.4. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, andadditional information in accordance with CYD policies and procedures.5. Monthly, quarterly, and annual contract deliverables are met. Youth are seen as requiredby the contract agreement.6. Client files will be maintained according to all BCFS HHS and contract standards.7. Program outcomes are tracked and achieved.8. Monthly and Quarterly reports are submitted to the Regional Director.9. Training partnerships are developed between local businesses and local training providers(e.g., community-based organizations or local community colleges) to train client to beproductive employees of the partnering businesses.10. All documentation is entered in a timely manner and per contract requirements, and alldocumentation captures the services provided to the client.11. Meet all deadlines required by Regional Director and Finance.12. Responsible for oversight of the budget for the CYD program. This includes reviewingmonthly general ledgers, billing spreadsheets, day to day tracking of expenses, andreviewing all financial reports for compliance.13. Monitor and approve program spending based on approved budgets.14. Review and approve monthly spending reports for direct reports. Collects and submitsoriginal receipts, expense reports, sign in sheets, and other required documentations forbudget and billing in a timely manner.15. Complete ongoing training, weekly consultation, and completion of monthly case fileaudits, review of case documentation, report writing, and shadowing of case managers.16. Demonstrate the ability to:a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural andsocio-economic characteristics.b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.c. Work in a fast-paced environment.d. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.e. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as amember of a multidisciplinary team.f. Travel as needed.17. Other job duties as assigned per grant requirements.Requirements:1. Maintain certificates required for the position including but not limited to First Aid andCPR.2. Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.3. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.4. Provide proof or work eligibility status upon request.5.
