Required qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Betenbough is not sponsoring work visas or transfers for this role; Permanent Resident Card or U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming using one or more of the following: C#, VB.NET, Java, or C
  • Fluency in at least one of the following: C#, Java, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of team software development lifecycle and release processes
  • Strong desire to learn new software development skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to document, verbalize, and organize ideas clearly

Experience or familiarity with:

Work environment
  • Office-based role in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Requires vision for near, mid-range, and far distances, as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, and reaching above head and below waist
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and be insurable by company fleet insurance
  • Ability to lift 20-75 pounds

Hours and schedule
  • 40-45 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Occasional travel for company events and inter-region collaboration
