SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our internal application development team. This role will work closely with Applications Team and end users to learn our systems, provide day-to-day support, assist with user setup, and contribute to basic reporting and data requests, with opportunities to grow technical skills over time.
The Application Support Analyst works under the guidance of senior analysts and is positioned to grow into report development, dashboard design, and deeper application administration over time. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career candidate who is detail-oriented, analytically curious, and eager to build a career in business technology. This position reports to the Director of Business Applications.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal users needing help with our Viewpoint Vista ERP system and related applications to triage and resolve common application issues.
  • Set up and manage users, roles, and security in line-of-business applications.
  • Support the Application Development team on Crystal Reports, Power BI, SQL, and integration projects as skills develop.
  • Create and update user guides, SOPs, and training materials to support end users across departments (Accounting, HR, Payroll, Project Management).
  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting integrations between Vista and third-party systems (e.g., HCSS, Tenna).
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Relevant internships and coursework projects will be considered.
  • Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) with a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data manipulation).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with appropriate guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Exposure to Viewpoint Vista, Trimble Construction One, or another ERP system.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Crystal Reports, or SSRS.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Interest in growing into a Application/Data Analyst career path.
