In this internship, you will:

  • Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard's internal systems and client-facing platforms
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment
  • Work with modern technologies and tools in an Agile/LEAN team environment
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions
  • Contribute ideas, solve problems, and drive outcomes both independently and as part of a team
  • Build connections with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard
  • Receive ongoing coaching and feedback to support your development

What it takes:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field (required)
  • Strong interest in application development, including web, mobile, or backend systems
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (preferred)
