Interns typically assist with coding, debugging, research, and testing while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role helps build technical skills, industry knowledge, and networking opportunities, preparing interns for full-time positions in the tech industry.

What kind of projects and tasks can I expect as a Computer Science Intern?

As a Computer Science Intern, you can expect to work on a variety of tasks such as writing and testing code, debugging software, supporting ongoing development projects, and collaborating on team-based assignments. Interns often contribute to designing features, fixing bugs, conducting research, or assisting in quality assurance under the guidance of senior engineers or mentors. The exact nature of your projects may vary based on the company and team, but you will typically gain hands-on experience with real-world software development tools and workflows. Description

Who We Are

Atrium is a fully integrated real estate platform managing 10,000+ units across Florida and Virginia. At Atrium, we don't simply manage properties-we build relationships. Our team is empowered to lead with professionalism, compassion, and creativity, making Atrium one of the most trusted and fastest-growing names in property management.

Always looking to evolve and improve on the ways we deliver the ultimate property management experience to our owners and residents, we are seeking Computer Science Intern who is genuinely curious and excited about bringing software automation to a forward-thinking company. That means when you join us, you're not sorting mail or making coffee runs. You're doing real work.

If you're looking for a place to shadow people and put "AI experience" on your resume, this isn't the right fit. If you want to actually build things and watch your designs come to life - welcome.

What You'll Work On

In this role, you will report directly to the lead of Atrium's AI initiatives to help automate and write software across our single-family, multifamily, commercial, and development real estate and property management divisions. Our ideal candidate is strongly self-directed, comfortable architecting from scratch, and always ready to jump in on various projects depending on business needs.

PAY: $16.00 per hour

LOCATION: Atrium Management Company, 201 S Bumby Ave. Orlando, FL (this is an on-site internship)

SCHEDULE: Part-Time, on-site (15-28 hours per week)

 Requirements:

  • Working understanding of Python programming language
  • Experience with Claude Code and Cowork (preferred), or OpenAI CodeX
  • Experience with Github
  • Proficient in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity / unfinished scaffolding
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication, and able to explain technical concepts to team-members of varying technical proficiencies

Nice to Have :

  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Sheets and NotebookLM prerred), or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Cloud deployment (Render or equivalent)
  • Experience with generative AI media creation platforms (ElevenLabs preferred)
  • Experience with Web Scraping software (BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium or similar)
  • Experience automating and streamlining finance / accounting workflows

What You'll Get:

  • Direct mentorship from a team who cares about teaching, not just delegating
  • Exposure to multi-division programming strategy across a growing regional company
  • Experience working with real innovations and real audiences - not mock projects
  • A flexible schedule built around your academic calendar
  • A great place to work! Atrium was named #1 Best Place to Work in 2025 by Orlando Business Journal!

Requirements
