Sales and Sponsor Outreach Intern
Responsibilities
• Research and identify prospective sponsors within the local community.
• Contact businesses through phone calls, emails, and in-person networking opportunities.
• Assist in creating sponsorship proposals and customized partnership packages.
• Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective sponsors.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, communications, and partnership opportunities.
• Help activate sponsorship agreements by ensuring sponsor benefits are fulfilled during games and community events.
• Assist with sponsor recognition through social media, game-day announcements, signage, and promotional materials.
• Represent the Jersey Shore Breaks at networking events, community appearances, and business functions.
• Collaborate with the marketing and game-day operations teams to maximize sponsor visibility.
• Perform additional sales and business development tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with business professionals.
• Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Interest in sports management, marketing, business, communications, or sales is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation is preferred for attending meetings and community events
• Time management
• Ability to multitask with several project details at once
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Position Details
Type: Internship / Part-Time (Academic Credit)
Schedule: Weekdays as needed, Evenings and weekends required; based on athletic event
