Mergers and Acquisitions Intern
About the job
What You Can Expect
As a Mergers & Acquisitions Intern, you will be part of APEX People Operations team, supporting the execution of our Mergers and Acquisitions strategy. The role offers hands on exposure to fast paced environment, with 2-4 acquisitions integrated every week. This is a part-time summer internship with up to 30 hours per week, that has potential to be extended during the Fall / Spring semesters.
What You Will Do
  • Integration Execution:

Support 4-8+ active deals simultaneously
Track System integration tasks across multiple concurrent acquisitions
Track all milestones and deliverables in Monday.com
  • Pre-Close Preparation:

Prepare acquisition data in required formats & standards
Validate employee data and organizational mapping
Run test uploads and resolve kickouts
Assign system permissions as required across HR systems
  • Post-Close Support:
    Audit and correct data discrepancies

Process tickets for changes to system permissions
Process tickets for changes to e-mail addresses
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 2nd year undergraduate or graduate degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Familiarity with Power BI, HR Systems (ADP, iCIMS) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Execution focused and detail oriented

Additional Details
  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • The internship work term will be from June 8, 2026, to August 28, 2026, based in our Irving, TX office
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy and is not eligible for remote work
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all APEX Service Partners ethics and safety policies

Compensation
Hourly Range: $23.00 - $25.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered compensation may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
