Job description


We are currently seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Cloud/.Net Developer Intern to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging internship with SAIC. Our goal is to award contingent offers to those that are interested in working for SAIC upon graduation and support efforts to get your clearance processed during that time.
The developer will participate in the system architecture design, systems engineering, development, integration testing and validation, and all aspects of the software life-cycle (requirements to design to implementation to test) of a web application with backend web services. The candidate will be responsible for developing and testing .net code as dictated by project requirement. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in Azure cloud platform, experience with application frameworks and some experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
  • Experience with some of the following technologies: .net, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with some of the following relational databases: SQL Server, Postgres.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP API development
  • Experience with XML and jSON
  • Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure Devops and GIT.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud platform.
  • Any familiarity with AI/ML is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.

Intern Program Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Customer Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if offered a position upon graduation, permanent opportunity after completion of the internship.
  • Citizenship - Must be a US Citizen.
