Manager, exocad CAD Libraries

Department: Information Technology

Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced employee to strengthen our dynamic Technology Integration team. In this key role, you will be responsible for integrating dental prosthetic components from our partners into our software solutions. You will define and manage projects, ensure their successful implementation, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration. Your tasks will also include technical communication, management of data and interfaces, and documentation of the integration processes. In the future, this position may also include leadership responsibilities – such as guiding team members and/or coordinating a small team of specialists. Your expertise will be crucial for the smooth and efficient integration of our partners' hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and successfully implement technical integration projects – especially in the creation and updating of dental component libraries and in providing technical consulting.
  • Analyze and integrate CAD data and hardware parameters from external sources into our component and hardware databases.
  • Provide effective, service-oriented communication with over 350 technology partners regarding ordering processes, integration questions, and process design – ensuring clear coordination between partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Independently define, manage, and successfully execute projects.
  • Continuously optimize our library structures and implement new solutions and user experiences quickly.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for our cooperation partners.
  • Work closely with our development and marketing departments to align technical requirements, external communication, and integration of new features.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders to gather feedback and suggestions.
  • Implement and strictly adhere to quality management system requirements according to DIN ISO 13485 to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Potential future responsibility: Lead a small team of specialists in the area of CAD component libraries.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • At least 5 years of experience in the dental industry, ideally in the area of hardware/software solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of dental laboratory workflows and requirements.
  • Graduate of a technical degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).
  • Proven experience in successful communication with customers and partners.
  • Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for 3D CAD software, along with excellent spatial visualization skills.
  • Creative and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Structured self-organization and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Open, direct communication style, team spirit, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
