Job Description:

Role Overview: Design and establish the security, compliance, and governance foundations of the Google Cloud Platform landing zone. Ensure the platform meets enterprise banking standards for security, audit, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Design security architecture baseline for the landing zone (zero-trust principles, defense-in-depth)

•             Define organizational policies, guardrails, and compliance frameworks

•             Design audit, logging, and monitoring strategy across the organization

•             Plan identity governance and access control frameworks

•             Collaborate with security and compliance teams to map requirements to Google Cloud Platform controls

•             Design secrets management and encryption strategies

•             Plan incident response and security monitoring procedures

•             Review security designs and provide guidance to team

•             Maintain security and compliance documentation

Requirements:

•             7+ years cloud security and architecture experience (Google Cloud Platform preferred)

•             5+ years in regulated industries (banking, financial services, healthcare, or government preferred)

•             Deep expertise in cloud security, IAM, compliance frameworks, and audit controls

•             Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture, network segmentation, and encryption

•             Experience designing and implementing organizational policies and guardrails

•             Knowledge of compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, regulatory frameworks)

•             Expertise in Google Cloud security services (Cloud KMS, Secret Manager, VPC Service Controls, etc.)

•             Experience with security governance and risk management
