Who are we looking for?

The Engineer will support the design, development, and assembly team in commissioning custom machines and automated equipment. This role will give engineers seeking hands-on exposure to machine design, manufacturing, and system integration the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, technicians, and crossโ€‘functional teams. 

What will you be doing?
  • Engineering & Design Support 

    Assist senior engineers in the design and layout of custom machines and mechanical assemblies  

    Create and update 3D models, layouts, and 2D drawings using CAD software  

    Learn and apply basic engineering calculations related to loads, motion, tolerances, and component sizing  

    Support component selection (motors, bearings, actuators, gearboxes, fasteners, etc.) 

What will you be doing?
  • Manufacturing Engineering Support 

Collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers to identify automation opportunities and ROI justifications

Develop fixture and tooling requirements in coordination with mechanical design teams (SolidWorks preferred)

Support qualification activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for regulated or precision manufacturing environments

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during production ramp, minimizing downtime 

What will you be doing?
  • Project Execution & Documentation 

Own integration project plans from scope definition through production handoff 

Maintain accurate documentation: wiring diagrams, functional design specs, I/O lists, and revision-controlled work instructions 

Work closely with controls, IT, and facilities to ensure infrastructure requirements (power, networking, safety) are met 

Lead cross-functional reviews and communicate project status to engineering management and stakeholders 

Who are You?
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science Engineering 

  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD) 

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and mechanical components 

  • Ability to read engineering drawings (training provided as needed) 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30%-40% international travel)

 
Who are you?

Preferred (Not Required) 

  • Previous Integration experience  

  • Exposure to machine elements (bearings, gears, belts, chains, pneumatics) 

  • Basic knowledge of GD&T 

  • Handsโ€‘on experience in a shop, lab, or build environment. 

  • Experience with automation, such as Arduino, PLCs
