Great!!  Bring your previous manufacturing or engineering experience into a fast-paced environment to fill this exciting role. You'll have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced engineering professionals while managing your own projects as you develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing solutions on existing and new process lines for increased safety, quality, productivity, and cost savings.  This position allows you to grow your professional skillset while seeing the real-world results of your work.

Responsibilities
Provides sound engineering principles for the implementation of new manufacturing equipment, processes and procedures.
Studies & recommends techniques to improve existing equipment and processes.
Coordinates design activities and installations with other departments.
Provide process line technical support including, but not limited to, investigating improvement opportunities, troubleshooting equipment, and addressing operator inquiries as requested.
Complete engineering calculations to validate implementation of new equipment or processes.
Represents engineering department on cross functional teams.
Prepares specifications for equipment and installation and secures bids from suppliers & contractors.
Analyzes equipment and contractor installation specifications.
Prepares layout & design drawings as required.
Requisitions material and equipment for capital projects.
Plans, schedules and supervises construction activities and participates in startup and evaluation of new equipment.
Prepares progress reports on capital projects.
Maintains engineering documentation including project files, datasheets, drawings, schematics, and revisions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree.
5+ years experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
Process and operations knowledge.

Excellent computer hardware and software applications knowledge
Data driven decision making; Effective use of process automation tools and IT
Thorough & organized
Confident and steady under pressure
Manufacturing Methods and Procedure 

Must be able to travel up to 25% and be available to travel significantly while on larger projects.
