Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB ) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of Math Lab Advisor. This position is a 12-month full-time appointment and will serve a key role in leading the design, implementation, and operation of a new Math Tutoring Lab that supports undergraduate academic success in foundational math courses.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to teach and tutor mathematics at the undergraduate level, provide academic advising, develop structured academic support resources, and lead initiatives to improve student outcomes in core math courses. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and institutional research offices to design and deliver data-informed tutoring strategies, implement student engagement tools, and support math education majors preparing for certification exams
