Job Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in fueling InvestorCOM's growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients within the wealth/retirement management ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, data-informed, and tech-forward - comfortable leveraging modern SaaS tools and AI-powered workflows to deeply understand prospects, personalize outreach, and work smarter at scale. You'll partner closely with Sales and Marketing to convert market signals into qualified pipeline opportunities.


What you'll do

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, email, social platforms, and digital channels using modern sales engagement tools
  • Leverage CRM data, intent signals, and AI-assisted research to understand prospective clients, their regulatory environment, and business needs
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book high-quality discovery meetings and product demos for the Sales team
  • Create, configure, and leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to research accounts, understand client needs, personalize outreach, and automate repeatable prospecting tasks
  • Experiment with new AI and sales technologies to continuously improve outreach quality, efficiency, and conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of prospect activity, insights, and pipeline progress in HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to test, refine, and optimize outreach campaigns and messaging
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and InvestorCOM's evolving product roadmap
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and virtual forums to expand market awareness and build relationships


What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, customer-facing, or technology-driven roles; SaaS, fintech, or financial services experience is a strong assetStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Comfort using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn, sales engagement platforms, and modern prospecting tools
  • Curiosity and openness to using AI-driven insights and automation to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • A results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn, experiment, and continuously improve
  • Comfort working with technology, data, and automation tools; ability to quickly learn new SaaS and AI-enabled platforms


Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, computer science, information systems, or a technology-related field is an asset
