  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with high school computer science standards including CSTA frameworks and common challenges such as abstract thinking about algorithms, debugging syntax and logic errors, and building persistence through coding challenges. Adapts instruction using visual programming tools, interactive coding platforms, and engaging projects to support students from introductory exploring computer science through pre-AP preparation.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
