Peregrine is a pioneer within the cybersecurity industrial control systems and the Internet of Things, supporting many federal and commercial customers. Peregrine's experienced staff knows the cybersecurity and operational technology environment and provides these capabilities for our customers daily.
Summary:
The Software Architect V is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-level software architectures for complex projects and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develops and implements high level project architectures - specifications for platform configurations, subsystem specifications, protocols, and interfaces
  • Supports, develops, and implements evolution of existing systems into target architectures
  • Technical Project Management
    • Will utilize project management tools to coordinate and plan development work
    • Meet regularly with the business owner team to report progress, set priorities and coordinate requirements gathering
    • Gather requirements
    • Help develop timelines
    • Ensure developers are available to develop software to meet those timelines
    • Coordinate with Business Process team to obtain User Acceptance and Release scheduling

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proven experience developing and implementing complex software architectures
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, architectural principles, protocols, and interfaces
  • Application Development
    • Utilize Java, Javascript (REACT) to develop the tools
    • Understand Git and GitHUB to continuously integrate and deploy software
    • Develop the processes using an Event Source software architecture
    • Understand Cloud-native infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software design, development, and architecture

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
