General Summary
Maintain general housekeeping of laboratories and perform related work as required.
Specific Position Duties
Maintain overall order and appearance of laboratories, trainers, test equipment and materials. Maintain laboratory station setup for: trainers, test equipment, tools, and materials. Test equipment may include, but are not limited to: DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, soldering irons, networking test tools, etc. Tools may include, but are not limited to soldering irons, wire cutters, screwdrivers, logic probes, IC insert and extraction tools, network wiring tools, etc. Materials may include, but are not limited to resistors, capacitors, potentiometers, microcontrollers, semiconductor devices and ICs, wire rolls, network cables, etc. Follows and maintains laboratory procedures. Installs new equipment and modifies current installations using various manual tools. Maintains inventory of replacement parts for electronic and computer equipment; performs quality checks on newly delivered equipment to ensure proper operation.
