Product Manager | Atlanta, GA (Onsite) | Fulltime

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Manager with strong experience in the Merchant Acquiring or Embedded Finance Domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams driving clarity through detailed product documentation, transaction and funding flow design, and precise technical collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation
    • Create comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and detailed functional specifications.
    • Document product flows, transaction lifecycles, and funding processes for digital banking or payments systems.
    • Maintain up-to-date user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules in collaboration with product managers.
  • Technical Collaboration & Delivery Support
    • Act as a senior business analyst and primary liaison between product, engineering, and QA teams.
    • Partner with technical leads to translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
    • Work with API teams, UI/UX designers, and data analysts to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Process & Flow Design
    • Develop detailed process maps, data flow diagrams, and system interaction flows using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
    • Ensure accuracy of transaction journeys from initiation to settlement including all funding and reconciliation steps.
  • Product & Release Management
    • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT coordination.
    • Review QA test cases and validate outcomes against business requirements.
    • Track delivery milestones and ensure high-quality, on-time release execution.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in writing requirements, business process mapping, and transaction flow documentation.
  • Proven experience working with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, MS Visio, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills both business and technical.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, structure, and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager in Merchant Acquiring or Embedded Finance Domain
  • Familiarity with Merchant pay-ins and Payouts, Instructional funding, and embedded finance
  • Exposure to APIs, microservices, and modern digital banking platforms is highly desirable.

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in Agile / Scrum or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
