Job description

CTG is seeking a Data Analyst - Axiom Track to support banking regulatory reporting solutions. This role will focus on data analysis, sourcing, profiling, validation, and reconciliation activities supporting Axiom Regulatory Reporting platforms and key regulatory submissions, including Call Reports and FR Y-9C.

The ideal candidate will have strong banking domain expertise, advanced SQL skills, and experience working with regulatory reporting, data warehouses, data mapping, and data quality processes. This position will partner with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Business, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and reliable reporting solutions.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: Ongoing Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regulatory reporting requirements and translate them into data sourcing, mapping, and transformation specifications.
  • Support Axiom Data Sourcing and Regulatory Reporting solutions, including reports such as Call Reports, FR Y-9C, and other U.S. banking regulatory submissions.
  • Perform advanced SQL-based data analysis, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data quality investigations.
  • Analyze source system data structures, relationships, and business rules to support regulatory reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage documentation, and business rule definitions.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies through root cause analysis and detailed data investigation.
  • Perform impact analysis for system changes, reporting enhancements, and regulatory updates.
  • Support testing, UAT, production validation, and monthly release activities.
  • Maintain documentation and controls supporting data governance, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills:

  • Strong banking and financial services domain knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with Axiom Data Sourcing and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Advanced Oracle SQL skills with experience in data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data quality analysis.
  • Experience with data warehouse concepts, source-to-target mapping, and data lineage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting processes, including Call Reports (FFIEC 031/041), FR Y-9C, and FR Y-14.
  • Experience working with banking data domains including Loans, Deposits, Customer, General Ledger, Treasury, Risk, and Financial Reporting data.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting controls, reconciliation frameworks, and compliance-driven environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
