Job Description

The Associate Director of Data Science Audience Soluions leads the process of analyzing business problems and developing data-driven solutions. This includes understanding business needs, guiding team members in writing SQL code to gather data, building machine learning models (like XgBoost, Random Forest, K-Means clustering, etc), analyzing results, and presenting findings to leadership. This role involves both managing a team and doing hands-on coding, model builds and analysis. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages data science processes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver on client objectives. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage and guide team members in their work. 
  • Develop complex SQL code to gather data from large datasets. 
  • Build advanced ML models (Classification, Continuous, Clustering etc) to help run optimized media campaigns 
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to analyze trends in data and generate insights 
  • Provide summarized, concise and clear findings and recommendations regularly to leadership 
  • Work collaboratively with other team members on projects 
Qualifications
  • Experience in managing data science teams 
  • 6+ years of experience preferred in Data Science 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark 
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Data Science 
  • Background in digital media preferred but not required 
  • Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute 
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

 Compensation Range: USD $112,290.00 - USD $148,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
