Job description

Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ Broadleaf Inc is looking for an IT Technician to join our team on a full-time temporary basis at our Hardware Depot in Millersville, MD.

This role involves processing trouble tickets, imaging and encrypting devices, shipping and receiving IT equipment, performing laptop repairs, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with IT hardware and software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Work Location: Millersville, MD Responsibilities: * Process trouble tickets and coordinate with the SSA Help Desk to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.

* Follow established procedures for imaging and encrypting laptops, tablets, and workstations while maintaining a near error-free standard. * Test imaged and encrypted devices before preparing them for shipment to end users worldwide. * Ship IT equipment via UPS, ensuring all items are properly weighed before shipping and coordinating with UPS for pickups.

* Receive and manage bulk shipments of IT equipment from third-party vendors, including unloading large pallets from tractor-trailers and distributing them within the warehouse. * Perform laptop repairs following documented procedures, including diagnosing and fixing common hardware issues. * Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and accessible.

* Adapt to a flexible schedule to accommodate the operational needs of the business. Qualifications: * Ability to pass an SSA Suitability Check. * Familiarity with IT hardware and logistics.

* High school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. * Familiarity with imaging and encrypting devices is a plus.

* Flexibility to work a later shift (10:30AM-7PM) * Basic computer repair skills and knowledge of IT troubleshooting. * Ability to lift and move 50LBS. * Ability to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
