What You’ll Be Doing

As our resident tech expert, you will wear the hats of both a mobile device savior and an IT networking pro. You will manage the entire customer journey from check-in to resolution and check-out.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Mobile & Computer Repair: Diagnose and repair hardware/software for Apple, Android, Windows, and Chrome devices. Replace screens, batteries, motherboards, and more.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Perform OS repairs (installation, corruption, data migration), HDD/SSD data recoveries, and precision soldering (motherboards, power jacks, USB/USB-C ports).
  • Networking Pro: Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot cabled, wireless, and mesh networks (homes, businesses, servers). Cleanly route and terminate ethernet cables.
  • System Mastery: Utilize managed IT service monitoring software (like Atera) and work with Ubiquiti and/or TP-Link product lines.
  • Sales & Customer Service: Run diagnostics, present repair/upgrade options to customers, create estimates/invoices, and close sales on PCs, Macs, software, and repair services.
  • Store Operations: Work closely with the Sales & Store Manager to maximize each invoice, answer calls, respond to website inquiries, manage deadlines, and process payments through our ExtraNet system.

What You Bring to the Table

To succeed in this highly lucrative role, you need a blend of technical expertise and a salesperson's charm.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in Computer Hardware Troubleshooting (repair, upgrade, replacement).
    • 2+ years in IT Network Installation & Troubleshooting.
    • 1+ year in Customer Service & Sales (comfortable working on commission).
  • Education: Associate degree preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record (Required).
  • Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the USA (Required).
  • Location: Must currently live within the area of our stores (no relocation required).

Schedule & Logistics

  • Shift: 8-hour day shifts.
  • Days: 5-day work week (Monday to Saturday).
  • Required Days: Friday, Saturday, and Monday are mandatory.
  • Time Off: You will always have Sundays off, plus one additional day off during the week!
