IT Asset Refurbishment Technician
Overview
We are looking for a person who is interested in learning the ins and outs of many computer based, technically related items. If you enjoy problem solving and working with a small team this job is for you. You will get hands-on experience with a number of manufacturers products โ€” Cisco, Dell, Pax, Verifone and many more. You will be working with Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Credit Card terminals and many more.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning something new almost every day. If youโ€™re willing to put the work in, this position comes with a high chance of personal and professional growth โ€” and if you would enjoy working in a fast paced and casual environment, weโ€™d love to hear from you.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Inspection and assessment of products.
  • Making determinations and preparing good assets for resale. You will be organizing, stacking, and possibly wrapping assets for resale.
  • Testing and grading payment devices, laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment, along with many other items.
  • Ensuring quality and security standards are met to maintain our current certifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma is required; higher education is preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy โ€” comfortable using Excel and writing professional emails.
  • Knowledge of PC components is required; experience building a PC is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • A strong attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to act professionally and communicate effectively.
  • A strong drive to work with and learn about computers.
