Baden, PA

Three Rivers Recycling is a private family-owned scrap metal company serving the Pittsburgh and surrounding area. With our 48 years of experience, we are the top metal recycling company in the area.

We are currently seeking a part-time Weigh Master to join our team in Baden, PA! As a Weigh Master, you will operate scales to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing materials, while assisting customers and supporting administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Starting at $17 per hour (offer dependent on experience)
  • Approximately 35 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Off on major holidays and Sundays

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to pass a drug test/background check
  • Basic computer knowledge and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Google workplaces

Responsibilities:

  • Weigh inbound and outbound materials and accurately enter weight tickets
  • Monitor daily yard movements, material flow, and scale activity
  • Count in/Out cash, pay out customers accurately
  • Answer phones professionally and provide front‑office coverage
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Office Manager
  • Greet and assist customers in a professional, customer‑focused manner
  • Monitor email during scheduled work hours
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned scale areas (inside & outside)
  • Maintain cleanliness of lunchroom, hallway, and payout areas
