Description:

Orion Security Solutions is seeking a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified Project Manager for a full-time position to be based in Edmond, OK. Orion Security Solutions (OSS) is an elite integration firm with expertise in advanced technical, physical, and information technology (IT) security solutions. OSS distinguishes itself from competitors by employing the industry's best and offering the highest quality solutions to its customers. The purpose of this position is to provide operational project management to the OSS Operations Division and manage on-site resources to deliver installations through installation teams. The Project Manager also monitors and controls the profitability of installations and ensures work requirements are satisfied.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide daily and/or weekly updates to Management on Projects/Jobs.
  • Works with the Sales team to design large or complex projects.
  • Provide technical assistance and quality control on installations.
  • Establishes project scope of work in conjunction with the sales and field operations team.
  • Establish and coordinate relationships with subcontractors.
  • Conduct project meetings on large or Key National accounts installations.
  • Maintain external and internal client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the sales and design team to perform site surveys and assist with the preparation of sales paperwork (proposals, bid packages, permits, contracts, etc.)
  • Provide both oral and written presentations to customers explaining the operation of their equipment and applicable services.
  • Prepare formal correspondence in response to customers' questions or concerns.
  • Ensure that all customer correspondence is responded to or forwarded to the appropriate department within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Handle escalated customer calls as needed.
  • Manage technicians or subcontractors on large or complex projects.
  • Complete projects as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of closed-circuit television (CCTV), access control, burglary systems
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of sales, installation, billing ad monitoring systems
  • Strong communication skills to assist internal and external customers.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to apply tact, diplomacy, reason, and logic.
  • Computer skills with expertise in MS and Google Suite.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint with advanced presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and professional attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and judgment.
  • Must possess strong project management organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and maintain multiple assignments.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, clients, and customers.
  • Must be self-motivated and project a professional attitude.
  • A high degree of knowledge of commonly used standards/practices and panels
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; push; pull or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 to 25 pounds
  • Some travel is required.
  • Work hours as required to support company metrics


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be PMP certified or have equivalent experience managing enterprise-level projects
  • Associate's degree preferred or HS Diploma (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of industry experience and 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proper vehicle registration.
