Project Managers at GURUS play a key role in the successful delivery of our architecture, implementation, and integration projects, all centered around NetSuite. You will be a key member of the GURUS team, facilitating and guiding both internal and external teams in discussions around business processes, solution design, as well as project planning and execution. What we value in our Project Managers

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in IT Project Management in business consulting, or team management within a consulting firm or software company
  • Experience with one or more of the following systems: NetSuite, Odoo, Epicor, Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong experience in business processes (major asset)
  • Proactive ("go-getter") attitude and ability to adapt to different project contexts
  • Excellent skills in project definition and oversight of the full project lifecycle
  • Strong people management skills: ability to motivate, mentor, coach, and lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English*
  • PMP certification (an asset)
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (an asset), as well as the JIRA tool

What does a typical day look like for a Project Manager at GURUS?

  • Collaborate with functional and development teams to gather and document client business requirements
  • Develop proposals and project plans with Sales and Professional Services teams
  • Design and optimize business processes with the Professional Services team, aligned with clients' strategic objectives
  • Create and manage project timelines, organize activities, define execution sequences, and identify dependencies and resource needs
  • Plan and manage resources throughout the project lifecycle, including:
  • Managing project mandates
  • Preparing and leading client meetings
  • Managing communication between delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure all aspects of the project are progressing properly, including timeline, actual vs. planned budget, and management of out-of-scope issues
  • Plan, manage, and communicate project milestones by providing weekly progress reports to clients and leading internal team meetings
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities before, during, and after projects
  • Learn, use, and promote the GURUS delivery methodology
