Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Project Managers motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to frame needs and scope, plan the schedule, budget and resources, coordinate IT teams and manage risks, changes and interdependencies; track progress and costs, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure go-live and handover to operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Frame business needs, technical requirements and scope.
  • Plan the schedule, the budget (Capex/Opex) and resources.
  • Coordinate the development, architecture, infrastructure, security and QA teams.
  • Manage risks, changes and interdependencies between systems.
  • Track the progress of each phase (analysis, development, testing, deployment) and costs.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and produce reporting.
  • Ensure go-live, stabilization and handover to operations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
  • Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
  • Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
  • Hold one of the following certifications: PMP, IPMA B
  • Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): A-CSM, PSM II, CSP-SM, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (ASM) etc.
  • Experience delivering a strategic mandate (an asset).
  • Experience in large Canadian public or private organizations.
  • Language: French and English
