Job description

Analytics Engineer

This role will build out foundational agentic data tooling to support sales analytics and operations. As an Analytics Engineer at Podium you will be responsible for the infrastructure that supports all analytics projects, dashboards, reports, and models. Your direct stakeholders will be the internal Sales Operations and Analytics team but you will also work cross-functionally with talented Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists. The core responsibilities require you to create new data models and data agents on Snowflake. This role is a balance between a Data Analyst and a Data Engineer. You should be equally comfortable and excited about coding and modeling as you are about mentoring, training, and empowering a team of Analysts and Data Scientists.

What you will be doing:

  • Design and implement a semantic data warehouse layer on top of our datalake using Snowflake and dbt
  • Architect scalable data solutions that empower all of Podium to work with data through agentic processes more easily and efficiently
  • Write documentation for best practices and to record Podium's data
  • Follow best practices around version control and mentor Data Analysts and Data Scientists on version control

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of work experience with SQL and experience with multiple flavors, Snowflake preferred
  • 2+ years of work experience with Python
  • 2+ years of work experience using Git for version control
  • Experience using dbt and Snowflake is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how agents interact with data and how to build secure, scalable data interfaces for humans and AI
  • Strong drive to organize and document data in a reproducible manner
  • Ability to understand the business logic for structuring data in a given way while also understanding and overcoming the technical limitations and challenges of implementing the desired data structure
  • Eagerness to work on development of internal tools, systems, packages, process, and documentation
  • You have a proven record of providing analyses that have tangible impact on the business
  • Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or hands on job experience with data science or analytics
  • You are committed to honesty and a diverse and inclusive workplace

What we hope you have:

  • Experience supporting Sales operations and GTM teams

Why you'll love working here:

  • Podium is the best place to work to:
    • Join the leaders in AI agents
    • Unlock career-defining growth
    • Build with world-class talent
