IT Network/Infrastructure Internship
What we are looking for:
Gelber Group is looking for a motivated candidate to join its Network and Infrastructure team for summer 2013. We are looking for someone with a graduating year of 2013 or 2014, and a major in CIS, MIS, CS, or related areas. This candidate will work closely with members of the team and other IT and trading groups. Candidates should have an interest or experience with:
- Computer networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP, LANs, WANS, etc)
- General computer knowledge
- System engineering (switches, routers, firewalls, servers)
- Various operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc)
- Network monitoring/management systems and technologies
- Network protocols (PIM, OSPF, BGP, NAT, RSTP, VPN, etc)

- Work well in a group and individually
- Effectively prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations

More on the internship:
