Digital Marketing Intern

We own and operate several businesses that sell everything from shoes and apparel to bedding and electronics through our e-commerce websites and direct mail catalogs, with some businesses offering their own proprietary credit payment options.

JOB SUMMARY

Mason Companies’ digital marketing interns will gain real-world digital marketing experience for a thriving company. Our competitive internship program offers interns exposure to several aspects of digital marketing and meaningful work experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a collaborative, fun, and dynamic environment. Our interns have the opportunity to work with Amazon, Meta, and Google while learning about a variety of other digital marketing areas.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Summer 2026 Digital Marketing Intern
  • 2026-2027 School Year Digital Marketing Intern

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The below listing of essential functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager.

 

  • Assist and develop content for Amazon, including image, copy, and video
  • Learn how to use the Amazon Seller Central platform to optimize listings, resolve errors, and improve account health
  • Coordinate the social media content calendar, including scheduling posts and ensuring timely publication across Meta and Instagram using Hootsuite
  • Help create and curate high-quality social media content, including graphics, videos, and written posts
  • Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content and social media strategy
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights for improvement using Google Analytics, Power BI, and Looker Studio
  • Assist with paid search management and gain experience with Google Ad Words
  • Participate in campaign planning and other promotional marketing activities
  • Perform other projects and activities in support of the marketing team

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, entrepreneurship, management, or related field
  • Junior or senior standing
  • Cumulative GPA over 3.0

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Skilled in collaborating with a team while demonstrating independence when needed

 

 

SCHEDULE

Our summer internship is full-time and primarily in-person at our Chippewa Falls office, with the potential for hybrid work. Our summer internship runs from June through the end of August.

Our school year internship offers a flexible, part-time schedule designed to accommodate your class schedule. Interns typically work 15-20 hours per week in-person at our Chippewa Falls office, with the potential for hybrid work. Our school year internship runs from September through May.

Our internships are available for course credit as approved by your institution.

COMPENSATION

  • $16/hour
  • 35% discount at the Mason Outlet Store

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is generally sedentary, with no specific need for physical coordination or effort. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities.
