Description
Join the Skyworks Timing Solutions team and work alongside experienced Product and Test Engineers to develop, validate, and optimize cutting-edge timing semiconductor products. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the complete semiconductor product lifecycle, from 1st silicon through high-volume manufacturing.
As a Timing Product Test Engineering Intern, you will contribute to test methodology development, data analysis, automation, and product characterization while collaborating with product and test teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and document production test strategies for mixed-signal timing devices.
  • Analyze characterization and production test data to identify trends, yield opportunities, and potential quality issues.
  • Support silicon post-silicon activities and debug activiites.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test programs.
  • Generate technical reports and present findings to cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
  • Support the release of new timing products from development into production.

Required Experience and Skills
  • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Related technical discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented engineering environment.
  • Understanding of basic electronics and semiconductor fundamentals.

Desired Experience and Skills
  • Knowledge of programming digital and mixed-signal circuit concepts.
