Job description

SOFTWARE ENGINEER, JOURNEYMAN
The company is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop and install software solutions.
  • Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.
  • Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer within the DoD environment (preferred degree post-secondary education may be substituted for 1 year of experience. 2 years of industry experience may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 3 years)

SECURITY CLEARANCE
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required (Poly may be required)
TRAVEL
• Some travel may be required.
