The Engineer Painter must have a minimum of 5 years Journeyman experience and be proficient in one or more of the following areas: proper surface preparation and application of all types of paints utilizing brushes, rollers, and spray methods, for interior and exterior applications; drywall taping, sanding and finishing for textured and smooth finishes; all types of wall covering layout, installation and repairs; special finish applications including faux, graining, wood finishing and staining.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Possess & exhibit accurate record keeping skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Basic computer skills and be detail oriented.
  • Possess customer relationship skills.
  • Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches.
  • Proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications
  • A valid Driver's License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
