Job description

Price Industries Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer in our new facility, located in Winder, GA with experience programming CNC Turret Punch Presses and Fiber Lasers machines. Experience with Amada AP100 software would be advantageous but not required. Working knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes is desirable.


Requirements

  • CAD (AutoCad, CAD/CAM programming, Amada, AP100US, FabriWin

  • Sheet Metal

  • Turrets, Punch Press Turret, Lasers (fiber lasers), CO2 laser, punch lasers
     

Responsibilities

  • Create/Update CNC programs for turret punch presses and laser cutting machines

  • Improve material utilization

  • Ability to create/modify CAD drawings.

  • Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings.

  • Ability and willingness to learn new software.

  • Sense of urgency. This is a job tied closely to production, requiring quick implementation of new product designs and changes to existing designs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to investigate an issue and determine the best course of action.

  • Must be well organized.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Amada AP100 software is desirable.

  • Knowledge of Amada turrets and lasers is desirable.

  • Computer skills and familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) are required.
