In-Depth Engineering is seeking Systems Engineers to support our Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) development efforts. BMD is the primary sea-based component of the U.S. missile defense system and integrates multiple capabilities through an advanced command and control system. As a Systems Engineer, you will perform requirements analysis and architecture and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Moorestown, NJ. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8.

Qualified candidates must have an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

Duties

  • Perform design, requirements development, software support, verification and validation 
  • Responsible for data analysis, requirements development, and supporting software integration and test
  • Derive and decompose requirements; perform tracking, validation, and verification
  • Perform as part of an Agile team to meet program performance objectives such as issue investigation and solutions 
  • Ensure technical, schedule, and cost constraints are met for assigned tasks

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline 
  • 2-5 years of related experience 
  • Experience developing test plans and complex systems integration
  • Experience decomposing customer requirements for developing a product
  • Experience with Jazz DOORS Next Gen, and data analysis tools such as DataShark (SysML modeling, AdobeXD, and MATLAB is a plus)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Cameo models and requirements
  • Hands on experience with C++ and/or Java

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with problem report and evaluation
  • Experience supporting test engineers with automated analysis driving level 1-5 testing
  • Experience with lab security and initialization
  • Experience with containers, specifically Kubernetes
