This outstanding opportunity lets you lead and innovate within a team of highly skilled engineers focused on developing flawless and world-class solutions that advance the industry.## ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Principal CAD Engineer/Manager, you will:* Lead the building and development of advanced CAD tools and methodologies.* Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement and integrate CAD solutions.* Determine and establish CAD build standards and guidelines.* Mentor and guide engineers, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.* Benchmark internal capabilities against industry standards to ensure competitive performance.* Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of existing CAD tools to ensure flawless operation.## Minimum QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:* A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.* Proven experience in CAD tool development and management.* Strong knowledge of semiconductor build and processes.* Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse group.* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.## Preferred QualificationsWe highly value candidates with:* Experience in managing CAD projects from concept through implementation.* Experience with commonly used CAD tools and software in the industry.* A track record of mentoring and developing engineers early in their careers.* Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.* Experience with DRAM or NAND device development.## BenefitsAt Micron, we take pride in empowering our employees and their families to stay happy, healthy, and financially well.
