Job Summary
The CAD Programmer is responsible for providing technical drafting support to internal and external customers. The CAD Programmer reviews work orders and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design. He is responsible for calculating figures to convert design dimensions specified for production processes. The CAD Programmer confers with engineering and design staff to determine design modifications and enters editing information into the computer.
Salary: $28.00/hour

Function in the Job
Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Job Function
Essential Job Duties:
  • Reviews customer prints for accuracy and completeness; resolves any discrepancies with customers.
  • Assists Inside Sales with quotes on flame cutting inquiries.
  • Checks flame cut parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
  • Coordinates with Plate Processing Department to schedule flame cutting production.
  • Maintains files of blueprints and drawings as required.
  • Maintains PC equipment as required.
  • Responsible for completing computer drawings of a print as specified by the engineering staff.
