Position Overview:
Louisiana First News in Baton Rouge is seeking a motivated college student to join our Engineering Department for an internship at FOX 44, NBC 33, CW 21, and ZTV. This is a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in the technical side of broadcast television-from maintaining equipment to supporting live production environments.

What You'll Experience:

  • Basics of broadcast signal flow and studio operations
  • Hands-on experience with audio/video routing, control systems, and IT infrastructure
  • Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of station wide equipment
  • How technical teams support daily newscasts and special broadcasts
  • Safety and compliance procedures in a professional broadcast facility

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a college or university program (junior, senior, or graduate level preferred)
  • Majoring in Engineering, Broadcast Technology, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
