Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a CNC Programmer in Anaheim, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for manufacturing projects
* Convert engineering drawings, work orders, and design files into machine-ready programs
* Support CNC router and machining operations used in fabrication processes
* Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as they arise
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to ensure project requirements are met
* Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications before production
* Assist with process improvements and programming standardization efforts
* Maintain program documentation and production records
* Follow company quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in CNC programming, CNC machining, or a related manufacturing role
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documentation
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
* General understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Flexi software (sign industry experience highly preferred)
* Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software
* CNC machinists looking to transition into programming are encouraged to apply
* Knowledge of G-Code programming
* Experience with 3-axis CNC machines and routers
* FANUC controls familiarity
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
