Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Feature Lead for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month potential contract to hire opportunity.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. As a team lead and individual contributor, you will mentor the team, oversee the design and implementation of complex computer programs, and align technical solutions to business objectives while ensuring compliance with software development standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs
  • Align technical solutions to business objectives
  • Ensure that coding practices and quality comply with software development standards
  • Conduct multiple software implementations
  • Apply both depth and breadth of knowledge in several technical competencies

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a Feature Lead or similar capacity
  • Experience in Core Java Application Development and Object-Oriented programming
  • Experience with Spring (Framework, Spring Boot, ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, Services)
  • Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP webservices, JSON/XML
  • Experience in Drools or other rule engines
  • Experience in UI frameworks such as Angular JS, Angular, or React
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms
  • Experience with Source Control Tools like BitBucket/GIT
  • Experience with Maven, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Junit
  • Experience in NoSQL DB Cassandra
  • Experience with at least one RDMS: Oracle or SQL Server
  • Experience in Apache Kafka or MQ messaging frameworks
  • Experience with Agile/Iterative development and the full SDLC
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and business

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
