Summary:
Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging, and repair as required. Will ensure materials are moved from staging areas to production lines to keep workflow moving through production areas.
Responsibilities:
• Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
• Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
• Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
• Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
• Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
• May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
• Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
• Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit
• Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
• Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
• Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings
• Perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions
• Perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations
• Perform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or finger prints and wipe down unit as needed
• Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions
• May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds
• Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision
• Mentor other co-workers in assembly activities
Other information:
• 1+ years of experience in basic SI assembly (new build lines, subassembly/final assembly
• Demonstrate good component recognition skills
• Understanding of basic computer skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company
• Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required

Compensation Range: $17.83 to $19.78 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
